A Bit About Us

The Westbank Riverwalk Coalition wants to create further connections between the city and the environment by following the Chicago Riverwalk's guiding principles:

• To provide access through an easy-to-navigate walkway made for everyone that establishes connections.

• ​To provide activation by creating a space for gatherings, diverse events and economic development opportunities.

• ​To provide authenticity by using the Riverwalk to celebrate the river's history, natural environment, and ability to enhance community life while promoting the Riverwalk as an amenity for all residents and visitors to enjoy.
